中国入世有利于促进与西方国家进行人权合作与沟通。中国在WTO体制下发展人权，既机会又是挑战。因此中国应当在WTO的环境中作好中国人口问题和人权保障的战略准备。保证人口的合理迁移和在WTO开放环境下，处理好人口问题和疾病预防，解决农业问题和中国的人口战略，是中国实现现代化的基础和关键。参照WTO透明和不歧视原则，实现我国的少数民族人口政策。
